After 120: The Campaign for TBB's Future
"May you live to be 120" is often used as a Jewish blessing, because Moses lived that long, was a mensch and a great leader, and had a good life. Temple B'nai Brith, Somerville's only synagogue, marks its 120th birthday in 2024. And we plan to be here for at least another 120 years!
We are in the midst of a major gifts Endowment Fund campaign to help secure a strong future for our congregation. To date, with the generosity of TBB members and friends, we have $335,000 donated or pledged towards a goal of $500,000 set by the Board of Directors. This will help assure that our Jewish home can continue to thrive and serve the Jewish community in and around Somerville, Cambridge, Arlington, Medford and beyond.
If you would like to learn more, discuss a possible contribution, or meet with one of our campaign volunteers, please contact Mark Niedergang, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, at m.niedergang@comcast.net or (617) 629-8033.
