9:00 PM - 10:00 PMSocial Hall - In-person and ZoomSlichot, the penitential prayers, are recited in the run-up to Rosh Hashanah and throughout the Days of Awe. As part of our preparation for the season of reflection and repentance, we start the Slichot prayers before welcoming the new year. The Slichot prayers may be most familiar from the Kol Nidre service and include some familiar High Holiday melodies (scroll down for links to some Slichot melodies that we sing at TBB). Ashkenazi* Jews typically hold the first Slichot service on the Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah.
